In 2012 IDC Design was engaged by Xstrata Technology to design their new office in 160 Ann Street

Xstrata Technology’s existing fitout was over 2.5 non contiguous floors which posed a real problem culturally and logistically within the firm so the lone of the key drivers was for contiguous floors connected by an intertenancy stair

Another key issue was that the fitout needed to reflect the new Xstrata Brand launched at the same time as the Brisbane office briefing phase

The new office was the perfect opportunity to test and address the accommodation needs so the briefing phase included workshops with a cross sections of the firm to establish new space planning guidelines

The result reflects a fully flexible workplace which supports the way Xstrata Technology works supported by meeting and collaborative areas
